The Conference of Missionary Societies, after consulting with the German societies formerly carrying on work in Hongkong, desires to submit the following proposals for the approval of His Majesty's Government. A request for the formal "recognition" of the societies desiring to be readmitted to Hongkong will be submitted later when the Conference has been able to prepare a complete list of the German societies which it desi res to recommend for "recognition" in different parts of the
